yo yo,
so, today i woke up (in the upstairs room of the house, which is the first picture in the last post, because i officially moved in there in the past few days) went out to the balcony and watched a flock of thirty plus green parrots go at the sunflowers in the garden for about an hour. then i made everyone orange banana custard crepes, and followed that up with an eggplant curry..... oh the joys of cooking and hanging out on a day off. we have started putting up the straw bale walls in the house, which is very exciting. otherwise, life is just cruising along and the time is flying..... before i know it i will be back on the road heading north, wierd. anyway, gotta go now, check in again soon. all my love......

Pablo, Sounds like life is wonderful and you are enjoying the heck out of it. It makes me feel good that you sound so content. Are you still building the water heater? Have not heard you talk about that lately. All is well here. Looking forward to spring and the snow to go away. I love you and miss you very much. Love Dad
ReplyDeletePablo, I got your phone message and it sounds like everything is good. The Skype thing sounds great. I was on the phone at work and could not pick up. Hopefully we'll hook up this weekend. Love Dad
ReplyDeletePaulie,
ReplyDeleteIt was amazing to hear about the earthquake and how it affected you. I was a little worried about you when I heard how big it was. Even that big mountain range between you and the quake couldn't stop the affects!
Your trip south sounds like fun and I can't wait to hear about it. I am wondering if the town you were in in Chile had an earthquake damage. It is interesting that we have heard far less about it than the one in Haiti.
I love you and hope your travels are going well!
Love,
Mom
